Doctoral Students

Positions are available for Ph.D. study on research projects related to those outlined in the Hansel Lab Research section.  Students with a background in environmental microbiology and/or geochemistry are encouraged to apply.  Students will receive full tuition, stipend, and benefits.  Interested applicants should contact Colleen Hansel to discuss research interests and compatibility.  Please note that applications to DEAS for the Fall 2007 term are due between December 15, 2006 (preferred) and January 2, 2007 (final) – see the DEAS admissions website for more details.  

Post-docs

Postdoctoral positions are available for those interested in conducting research within environmental microbiology and geochemistry.  Applicants with a strong knowledge and research background in redox chemistry and/or molecular biology are preferred.  All post-docs within the Hansel lab will be asked to assist in mentoring and assisting grad students in developing their research projects.  Please send your CV and research interests to Colleen Hansel.
